Greek Lamb Burger

Ingredients

1 package Johnsonville Stadium Honey Hamburger Buns, baked by Aunt Millie's

1 lb. lean ground lamb

1 lb. ground turkey

½ c. crumbled feta cheese

2 tsp. dried rosemary, chopped

2 tsp. grated lemon rind

1 tsp. dried oregano

½ tsp. salt

½ tsp. pepper

2 garlic cloves, minced

Tzatziki Sauce

1 c. fat-free plain Greek-style yogurt

2 garlic cloves, minced

½ large cucumber, finely chopped

2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Salt and Pepper to taste


Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients for the tzatziki sauce and refrigerate until burgers are ready.

  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  3. Combine all burger ingredients together, and shape into 8 patties.

  4. Grill patties for 6 – 8 minutes on each side. Thermometer should register 165 degrees.

  5. Remove from grill and place on hamburger buns. Top with desired amount of tzatziki sauce. Add lettuce and tomato if desired.
