Chorizo Cheddar Burger

Ingredients

1 package Johnsonville Griller Hamburger Buns, baked by Aunt Millie's

1 ½ lb. ground beef

½ lb. chorizo, casing removed

1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

1 tsp. garlic powder

½ tsp. salt

¼ tsp. black pepper

Mayonnaise

Lettuce

Tomato


Directions:

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

  2. Gently combine ground beef, chorizo, cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and shape into 8 patties.

  3. Grill patties for 6-8 minutes on each side. Thermometer should register 165°.

  4. Place each patty on a bun spread with mayonnaise and top with lettuce and tomato.
